Who was Artugrul Gazi?

 

Artugrul Ottoman Turkish : ارطغرل  1191/1198 Ahlat  - 1281 Sugut ) who was known as Artugrul Ghazi . Father of Uthman I, founder of the Ottoman Empire . He was the leader of the Kayi tribe of the Oghuz Turks . Byzantines against the Roman Seljuk aid aratugrula Merv from the anatuliyaya came. During this time he led the creation of the Ottoman Empire through a series of events Like his son Uthman I and future descendants, he was addressed as Ghazi                           Which refers to the heroic warriors who fought for Islam .   

In 1230 he became the leader of the Kayi tribe of Oghuz Turks . He took the lead as a result of being an assistant to the Seljuks against the Byzantines . He acquired the land of Karaka Dag near Angora (present-day Ankara ) by the first Kaikobad of the Seljuk Turks of Rome . According to a source, Arturul had a reason to give the Seljuk leader land so that Arturul could repel attacks from Byzantines or other opponents. He later acquired the village of Sugut and the surrounding area, which he conquered in 1231. The village was founded in 1299 by his son Sultan Usman Ghazi Khan in the Ottoman Empire.   Became the capital. He has two more sons, Sabchi Bay and Gunduz Bay . In the nineteenth century, a ship of the Ottoman navy was named after him. The Artugrul Gazi Mosque in Ashgabat , Turkmenistan, is also named after him. Turkish Dirilis: Artugrul starred in the TV series Artugrul as Engin Altan Dozaitan Artugrul gazi
